Safe Filming Webinar

Pursuant to the FDCP-DOLE Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 001 Series of 2020, All workers must also be oriented on safety and health hazard identification, risk assessment and control (HIRAC) to assess and identify occupational hazards in their workplace accurately.

To better acquaint the film and audiovisual industry about the FDCP-DOLE Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) through its Safe Filming program launches a series of trainings for audiovisual workers.


The Safety & Health Orientation Webinars (SHOW) is a  3- hour online lecture to discuss the Health and Safety Protocols for the film and Audiovisual Industry. This program is targeted to workers and practitioners who are participating in film and audiovisual production shoots. Safe Filming SHOW is free to the public, but participants must register in advance to be accommodated.


It is FDCP’s objective to adequately equip professionally-accredited Safety Officers with the guidelines and protocols of the FDCP-DOLE Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 001 Series of 2020 for the safe conduct of audiovisual activities, and to control and manage risks related to the coronavirus pandemic./p>

The Safety & Health Officers Training Seminar (SHOTS) offers an FREE 40-hour training module on Occupational Safety and Health Standards specific to the film and audiovisual work industry. The goal of this training program is to complement the already existing BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) training of DOLE.

Discussions on general occupational safety, health and security, with topics that range from precautionary health practices, protective personal equipment, alternative ways of conducting work safely, movement and transportation, planning safe shooting, and many others will be led by noted experts and safety officers in the fields of film, audiovisual, and live events.
